To resolve this error, make sure that the latest version of Windows Messenger is installed on your computer. The latest version of Windows Messenger is available as a free download from the following MSN Web site:

To determine the version of Windows Messenger that is installed on your computer:
1. Start Windows Messenger.
2. On the Help menu, click About Windows Messenger.
3. Note the version number, and then click OK.
